For lovers of golf, the Gran Hotel La Hacienda is an exceptional place because of its proximity to the Lumine Golf Club.
The Lumine Mediterránea Beach & Golf Community is a paradise for golfers. There, everything is a green: 170 hectares devoted to three golf courses with the 45 newest holes in Spain and two club houses. Each of these courses is a different experience for the player.
Not only because of the challenge they pose, but also because of their design: the 18-hole Lakes golf course is surrounded by nature, around the wetlands; the 9-hole Ruins golf course runs between archaeological ruins; and the 18-hole Hills golf course includes views of quarries, pine groves and the sea.
But the most important thing is that the Lumine Golf Club courses have been awarded the Audubon International Gold Signature Sanctuary certificate. This award recognises Lumine Golf Club's environmentally sustainable model and its responsible water management.
The North Course surrounds the wetlands of the Sèquia Major, which is an area of natural interest. A Mediterranean landscape and environment, perfect for relaxing. With a LINKS design, this is the most technical of the three courses, a real challenge for any golfer.
The Central Course is located among the Lakes and Hills Club Houses, on the highest slopes of the Lumine community. This was originally an area of olive and carob trees; the trees were replanted to preserve the original Mediterranean landscape. Probably the most unusual aspect of this 9-hole course is that it runs over fairly flat land located between unique Roman ruins from the 2nd century In short, a unique golf course which we are not trying to entertain you with, but to ensure you make the most of each of your strokes.
The Hills Golf Course offers the most spectacular views for players. The holes, near the Cap de Salou, run through lush forests of white pine and extensive olive and carob groves, culminating in stunning views overlooking the sea. The sympathetic integration of the golf course with the countryside has created an attractive, varied course, with regulation distances for high-level competition. Metres and metres of lanes to develop your best game.
